Szkoła Podstawowa w Rudnikach 10.11.2011r. przystąpiła do projektu edukacyjnego EKIROOTO, który realizowany jest pod patronatem Ministerstwa Edukacji Narodowej. Chcemy pomóc spełnić marzenie o nauce jednemu nigeryjskiemu dziecku, dla którego nauka pozostaje w sferze marzeń - ekirooto w języku luganda znaczy marzenie. Projektem tym objęte są przede wszystkim sieroty i dzieci ulicy, ale również dzieci z ubogich rodzin dla których opłacenie edukacji to wydatek przekraczający ich możliwości. W ramach projektu finansowane jest czesne oraz zakup niezbędnych rzeczy potrzebnych w szkole.
Naszym podopiecznym został Hussein Katabazi. Zdjęcie chłopca oraz relacje z jego postępów w nauce systematycznie będą publikowane na gazetce szkolnej. Do Husseina możemy również napisać list, który wyślemy pocztą elektroniczną
